Paklink (NZ) Ltd is a company owned by ten independent packaging distribution companies throughout New Zealand. It is regarded in many sectors of the packaging industry as New Zealand's 'Major National Distribution Network'. PakLink has 25 key suppliers that they class as 'Paklink Partners' with whom they work with to get the best buying available with commitment and support for the betterment of their customers. These suppliers include 3M, Sellotape, Sealed Air, Danband Products and Unibag.

Both the Paklink Member and Paklink Partners have strict criteria to belonging to the group and they have an annual assessment to ensure that they are adhering to the criteria that the group has set to maintain the standards required. Paklink's Statement of Purpose is "To be the most professional, innovative and respected packaging distribution group in New Zealand".

The head offices for Paklink are situated in Nelson. Cherie McKinstry is the Executive Officer and the group has recently elected Peter Rait, the Managing Director of Nelson Packaging Supplies, as Chairman. Both Peter and Cherie are very passionate about their roles with Paklink. They are on the button with changes, trends and innovations within the industry.

The members feel their association with Paklink is a key ingredient to the future success of their businesses as it gives them the independence they need to operate at a local level but with the backing of a national body. Strength and power does not come from head office, but from innovation and commitment from freethinking, like-minded business people. Paklink is local businesses with national strength. The group's strength comes from the fact the each company is independently owned. This allows them to focus on their customers so they can make instant decisions, as they do not need get approval from head office. Paklink members work with their customers on a daily basis and are committed to them one hundred percent.
